The Romance of Revolution? The Discourse of Revolutionism among Hungarian Youth 1957–1970

After the Hungarian revolution of 1956, Kádár-regime revised political and ideological tasks aims in field youth politics. In this study, I am going to examine discourse revolutionism its manifestation movements. By defining political-historical background, focus on “socialist patriotism” ‘internationalism’ early period era. With case study “Forradalmi Ifjúsági Napok” (Revolutionary Youth Days) revival will be examined allowing for construction observed practice. The domestic global events 1968 challenged when “revolutionary romanticism” faced “revolution everydays” it slowly eroded Napok”.
